How far is Casa Playa Escondida from Cabo?

We’re roughly25 min from Cabo San Lucas by car, depending on traffic and exact route. You’ll drive on Highway 1 for most of the way and then turn off onto a rural road for the final stretch.

Yes. There is no public transport directly to the house, and a rental car is the easiest way to reach us, pick up groceries, and explore nearby towns and beaches.

The last part of the drive is on a dirt road. A standard car usually works, but a higher-clearance vehicle is more comfortable. We recommend arriving in daylight for your first visit.

The Pacific side of Baja can have strong currents and waves. Some days may be suitable for experienced ocean swimmers; other days are best for walking, beachcombing, and enjoying the view from shore. Always use your own judgment and respect local conditions.

Families are welcome, but please note that this is an oceanfront home with terraces, stairs, and direct beach access. Young children will need close supervision at all times.
